With a background in commercial production, Cortney spent several years working across branded content and advertising before turning her focus toward the stories that have always driven her: wildlife, conservation and the natural world. Originally from Toronto, she moved to Vancouver Island to pursue natural history storytelling and first joined Wild Bus Films in 2022. As Production & Outreach Coordinator, Cortney helps bring productions to life behind the scenes — coordinating everything from crew, equipment and shoot logistics to locations, permits and production planning. She also supports Wild Bus Films’ outreach and communications, and loves being part of stories that connect people with wildlife, nature and conservation.
