Our advanced certified drone operator Kai has worked on major international science and natural history productions, with recent broadcast credits including Netflix, the BBC and PBS, including a landmark Bafta-winning series. Kai grew up on a 50ft converted fishing trawler and is intrinsically connected to the magic of the wild BC coast. A certified boat captain and a snowmobile guide, he’s just as at home on the ocean as he is in the alpine environment and is certified in avalanche safety, radio comms and wilderness first aid. His deep connection with the pacific northwest gives him an intimate knowledge of the environment, tides and weather conditions, as well as an insight into the unique stories the region has to offer.
